"It is not only likely, but highly probable, that the information contained in this massive compendium will repay the purchasers of the work many times over...."

The English Connection is a comprehensive examination of the major types of arms, equipment and other militaria purchased from Great Britain by the Confederate authorities and individual speculators. The book is lavishly illustrated with color photography and recently discovered period illustrations never before published, and is strongly recommended for readers with an interest in all aspects of blockade running and English arms and accoutrements used by the Southern Confederacy during the American Civil War.
We hope to collect more information about extant examples in private collections. Russ Pritchard, Tim Prince and and a handful of dedicated collectors and researchers have been maintaining a detailed database regarding surviving Confederate numbered Enfield rifles, rifle muskets and artillery carbines, and Kerr revolvers. We encourage collectors who would like to provide additional information for this database to visit the submit option above for an informational form you can fill out regarding your Confederate imported English weapon.
We look forward to hearing from you.
